The past twelve months have been challenging for all of us. With more free time at our disposal, it has been a time to reflect on things and finish projects and ideas that lay dormant. Being a sculptor, I’m always thinking of what to create next.
This sculpture was started a few years ago but I thought this was the perfect time to complete it. It had been along time since I sculpted a head figure. With this sculpture I wanted to create a feeling surprise and mystery. As I began the process it came to light, and the new sculpture was born.
