“All Lives Matter” Medium: Alabaster Price: $65,000.00 Dimensions: 80” h x 14”w x 14”d
This past year has been a real change for everyone. As an artist I was able to become more inspired and creative. Since I had a lot more time on my hands, I thought it would be a good time to finish projects that I had begun years ago but never got around to doing it.
This sculpture was started around twelve years ago then put aside for another 5 years until this year. My vision was to create a sculpture to honor all the lives lost due to the pandemic and violence in the world.
After about six months the sculpture came together as a monument to all people as I created faces of all sizes and expressions from around the world. The final result became “All lives Matter.”
