“Opposing Positions” Medium: Alabaster Price: $3595.00 Dimensions: 17” h x 16’w x 13”d
This sculpture I started out as an interesting grey and black alabaster stone. As I began working on it, I wanted to create an angular sculpture to highlight the unique tones of black and grey. While shaping the I noticed that it there was a section that was very thin. As it turned out the sculpture split in two and created a new twist to the final shape of the piece. With the addition of two steel rods, I joined the two pieces to become one sculpture that were once one sculpture, and the result was “Opposing Positions“.
