The past twelve months have been challenging for all of us. With more free time at our disposal, it has been a time to reflect on things and finish projects and ideas that lay dormant. Being a sculptor, I’m always thinking of what to create next.
This sculpture was done years ago but I thought this was the perfect time to recreate it. The sculpture was first mounted in a horizontal position, but I felt the need to recreate it in a vertical position. This would bring new life into the piece. As I began the process a transformation came to light, and the new sculpture was born. “Genesis”
