“Gorgia on my Mind” Medium: Field Stone(granite Price: $1850.00 Dimensions: 19” h x 4’w x 4’d
This past summer our family decided to do a road trip through Gorgia and North Carolina.
While hiking around the mountain trails, I noticed some rocks that were indigenous to the area, and I began collection a few. When I returned back to my studio I put them aside to be worked on later.
I began thinking of what to create from these field stones which were actually granite. They were all different shapes and colors.
The final result was a sculpture incorporating all the stones. The end result became “Gorgia on My Mind.”
