This incorporates a new technique for me. When I began the sculpture, I had one thing in mind. I wanted to incorporate two marble stones in a unique way. This was the first time I used high strength magnets to join the different marble objects. It also is a dual sculpture and has two titles. The first sculpture has a round white marble object impacting the flat surfaced stone which I titled it “Impact”. I then had another idea in mind so I created a square object that would also fit in the surface of the flat marble sculpture and I titled it “Square Peg in a Round hole”
So in fact there are actually two sculptures, that can be changed just by switching the white marble objects.
