I’m always inspired to create a sculpture to enter an art exhibition that has a theme.This particular exhibition had a theme of water, water everywhere. I started thinking how I would create something that would fit the theme. At that time I was working with aluminum and the idea came to me of creating a waterfall. After I created the aluminum sculpture, I then added fused glass to cover the aluminum framework. Unfortunately, when I was about halfway through, I ran out of glass and had to wait a few weeks for the shipment came in. As it turned out, I missed the entry date for the exhibition, but the sculpture was soon completed after that. The final result was “Falling Waters”
